Becca Umobong is an adjunct faculty member for UNIV 1210 and 1211. She is also the director of Academic Skill Development within the division of Student Academic Success Programs at Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ. She earned her M.Ed. in higher education from Dallas Baptist University, and her B.A. in communications from Washington State University. Becca has been teaching at Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ since 2012 and established UNIV 1210 as an online course in 2018. She has also taught specialized sections of UNIV 1210 for pre-health students, transfer students, and student-athletes. Becca is a recent recipient of Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ’s highest honor, the M Award. Becca’s full-time work focuses on working with first-year and sophomore students, first-generation college students, and students on academic probation.
