Become a Peer Mentor! 

Looking to grow as a leader, make meaningful connections, and enhance your resume?

Join the Mustang Mentors Fall 2025 cohort! As a peer mentor, you'll support first-year and transfer students as they transition into college life-offering guidance, encouragement, and insight along the way. You'll be matched with a mentee based on shared interests, hobbies, and academic goals. Serving as a peer mentor gives you the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build your network across campus, and make a real impact on the Hilltop. Sign up today!

The Mentor Experience:

  • Meet at least 1x a month with your mentee(s). 
  • Attend at least 1 cohort event per term.  
  • Log conversations with your mentee on the Dashboard.
  • Receive Mentor Collective Certification for LinkedIn and Resumes.

    If you have questions about Mustang Mentors, contact Olivia Prioleau, Project Specialist for the Office of Engaged Learning. Prior to coming to Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ, Olivia earned her M.Ed in Higher Education Leadership from Texas Christian University. While at TCU, she advised first-year leadership programs, student organizations, and coordinated large-scale programs in her role as the Graduate Assistant in the Student Activities Office. oprioleau@smu.edu
