About Abrar Alam
Dr. Anoop Krishnan currently serves as a Research Assistant Professor at the O’Donnell Data Science and Research Computing Institute (ODSRCI), Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ. From 2024 to 2025, he was a post-doctoral researcher in the Cox School of Business at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ, where his work—supported by a Bush Fellowship—focused on devising lightweight methodologies for deepfake detection and on developing an efficient framework for multimedia content authentication.
Dr. Krishnan received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Wichita State University, Kansas, in 2024. His doctoral research (2020-2024) concentrated on detecting and mitigating biases in artificial-intelligence systems, with particular emphasis on biometric applications.
