About NetID

One of the improvements made with the move to Entra ID is the ability for the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ community to user their NetID as a login, as opposed to their private Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ ID number. For many, this NetID will match your @smu.edu email address. To assist users with identifying their NetID, myprofile.Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ allows members of the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ community to look up and verify their NetID.

Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ ID Numbers and Entra ID

Please be aware that move to Entra ID removes the ability to use private Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ ID number as a valid login, helping to keep your private ID number private, and only NetIDs will be supported.
