The Men play LSU in the NIT at 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, in Moody Coliseum, and the Women play Minnesota in the WNIT at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 23, in Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
About the Men's Game:
No. 1-seeded Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ (24-9) hosts fifth-seeded LSU (20-13) in the National Invitation Tournament Second Round at Moody Coliseum on Monday at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN. The game is sold out, the Mustangs' eighth sellout of the year, a Moody Coliseum record. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ has 24 wins, the fourth-most in program history, and the most since the Mustangs recorded 28 wins in the 1987-88 season. The Mustangs are 16-1 at home this season, including 10-1 inside Moody Coliseum. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ's 16 home wins are a program record. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ, which is making its third NIT appearance, defeated UC Irvine 68-54 in the first round on Wednesday.
Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ tied the program record with 12 conference wins, most since winning the 1993 Southwest Conference title. The Mustangs' third-place conference finish was the best since 2003.

The Mustangs advanced to the second round of the WNIT to face Minnesota Sunday at 5 p.m. in Minneapolis with an 84-72 win at home over Texas Southern Thursday. Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ is 18-13 on the season after picking up its first postseason win since knocking off North Carolina State 64-63 in the first round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament. The Gophers are 21-12 after beating Green Bay 62-60 to advance.
